“VENETIAN MASKS” WITH JANET APPLEGATE

SATURDAY , AUGUST 15TH AND SATURDAY, AUG. 22nd, 9:00 A.M.-NOON. FEE: $75.00, A $10.00 MATERIALS FEE WILL BE COLLECTED BY THE INSTRUCTOR.

Janet Applegate has twenty years of teaching experience with the San Juan Unified School District. She is an Elementary Art Specialist. Janet has a Bachelors Degree in Art from CSU, Northridge. Janet is looking forward to teaching a workshop for adults, to share the fun of working with clay and expressing their creativity. The first Saturday will be spent designing the masks and modeling the clay. The week between classes the masks will be fired in a local kiln. Students will return on the second Saturday to decorate their masks and take them home to display.

Registration is by mail or drop off only. Please send your check in the full amount of $75.00 for this two day workshop. Please include a self-addressed stamped #10 envelope , you will receive a receipt and your materials list by return mail. Click for application

VICKI SHUCK "BLOCK CARVING & PRINTING"
SATURDAY , OCTOBER 3, 2009, 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Vicki Shuck has been exhibiting her art work and doing commissions since 1975. Her experience encompasses all areas of art. She has worked on murals, done graphic art and been involved in the art community in every aspect. Vicki received her art degree from Oregon State University. She currently teaches art to children and adults, does illustration work, and operates a business that sells to a specialized market.

FEE: $75.00, STUDENTS WILL PROVIDE THEIR OWN MATERIALS (THE INSTRUCTOR HAS A FEW SETS OF TOOLS AVAILABLE FOR USE BY THOSE WHO DON’T WISH TO PURCHASE THEM.)
