Sacramento Fine Arts Center Photography Club

Dear Past and Present Photography Club Members:

It appears that our leader has resigned, the group is without a head. Yet we think there is a need for a Photography Club with regularly scheduled meetings with a presentation, a need for the photography artists in our organization to be represented.

Come Thursday February 22 at 7 pm. Share with us what your needs are. Help us find a new leader (or leaders). Lets plan for the future!

The presentation will be the film "Bill Cunningham, New York" a very inspiring story of a journalist, artist photographer.

Sacramento Fine Arts Center Board and Staff

Among the region's most prestigious, the Sacramento Fine Arts Center Photography Club consists of several award-winning artists and serious practitioners, we use the medium of digital photography to explore, create, and present art.  If you are of like mind, please join us on this journey.

We meet on the 4th Thursday (3rd Thursday in November, no meeting in December) of the month at 7:00 pm at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center, 5330B Gibbons Drive in Carmichael. At our meetings, we share our images, our experiences, and sometimes have guest speakers and programs, films, etc..

We like to schedule monthly photo shoots to various locations in the region.  Frequently, more informal photo venues are pulled together at the spur of the moment when two or more members are inspired and hear of a new great location in which to test our cameras and creativity.  News of a new photo exhibit or workshop can also lead members on a trip to a museum or gallery.

*The SFAC Photography Club is a subsidiary club of the Sacramento Fine Arts Center
