About the Club
The SFAC Photography Club is a group of artists whose medium happens to be Photography. Unlike other photography clubs, we do not dwell on the latest equipment or the exotic places we have visited, but instead explore what it takes to create and present art. If you are of like mind, please join us on this journey.
We meet on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center, 5330B Gibbons Drive, Carmichael. At our meetings, we share our images, our experience and sometimes have guest speakers. We also have a group outing at least every other month that is usually a photo shoot, but can also be a trip to a museum or gallery.
The SFAC Photography Club is a subsidary club of the Sacramento Fine Arts Center.

- Meeting Thursday September 22, 7:00PM at the SFAC - Carol Rhodes-Wittich owner of Cje's Art and Fiber Printing will be our guest speaker. She will discuss printing on alternative media and textiles.
- September Outing - California Capitol Airshow. Exact schedule TBD.
- SFAC Open Photography Show - November 1st through the 19th. More information coming soon!
